Boynton Beach strip club owner declares his business a public nuisance

WEST PALM BEACH — Norman Goddard, owner of the Boynton Beach strip club Platinum Gold, pleaded guilty to a felony charge Wednesday in a deal which included having Goddard declare his business - situated at the gateway to the city - a public nuisance.

Prosecutors dropped the hefty original charges Goddard faced after his arrest a year ago: trafficking in oxycodone and deriving proceeds from prostitution. Goddard, 54, instead pleaded guilty to the rarely-prosecuted felony of operating a public nuisance where controlled substances are illegally kept or sold...read more
